7709 Exchange On December 9th, we visited Banqiao High School for an exchange with Team 7709. Initially, the captain of Team 7709 introduced their team, detailing roles, management structures, and scheduling. In return, we shared our experiences in administration and hardware, outlining various plans for our team, including pre-season and post-season arrangements. We engaged in a mutual exchange of experiences and shared ideas. Following this, Team 7709 guided us through Banqiao High School's training room. With patience, they explained each piece of equipment, demonstrated hands-on operations, and facilitated discussions where both teams exchanged insights. In terms of team management, they shared how to effectively use calendars, clearly marking each person's tasks and deadlines for better organization. On 10/29, we participated in the Freshman Cup competition. Initially, we set up the field, tested the machine, and carried out a series of pre-match preparations. With a mix of nervousness and excitement, we embarked on numerous matches. Each match yielded different results, providing us with valuable insights and highlighting areas for improvement in our machine. In the afternoon, we proceeded to form alliances based on rankings. We were delighted to join forces with @frc_7709 and @jh_tech.2th, forming the second alliance and navigating the competition together. After multiple rounds of intense competition, we ultimately secured the runner-up position. Following the Freshman Cup, we conducted a review meeting where each team identified areas for improvement.
