On February 17th, we participated in the first mock competition with the aim of familiarizing ourselves with the official competition rules and venue through repeated practice. During this event, we thoroughly tested various functions of the robot, identified areas needing improvement, analyzed the pros and cons of different designs, and practiced our ability to control, maintain, and adapt on the spot. This will greatly assist us in future competitions. On February 24th, we participated in the second mock competition, continuously improving based on the issues identified earlier through multiple repairs and tests. On 10/29, we participated in the Freshman Cup competition. Initially, we set up the field, tested the machine, and carried out a series of pre-match preparations. With a mix of nervousness and excitement, we embarked on numerous matches. Each match yielded different results, providing us with valuable insights and highlighting areas for improvement in our machine. In the afternoon, we proceeded to form alliances based on rankings. We were delighted to join forces with @frc_7709 and @jh_tech.2th, forming the second alliance and navigating the competition together. In the past few weeks, we worked hard to make our robots for Freshman Cup. The hardware and software group have been mainly busy with the Freshman Cup. In the past few days, members in the hardware group have stayed to discuss and assemble the robot at noon and after class. Some members are responsible for sawing aluminum. Some members are responsible for measuring the length of the tread, some are responsible for assembling it, and some are responsible for connecting the wires. You can see their perfect division of labor and cooperation, and the degree of completion is getting higher and higher day by day, and it is almost completed now. Last week, the team held a parent briefing on results and new season. The purpose was to let parents better understand what the team is doing and what their children can gain by joining this team. By the way, we would like to introduce the environment and operation model here, and we hope parents can provide more support and assistance in planning for the following seasons. For this event, each group spent a lot of time making briefings and planning time, hoping to communicate clearly with parents. On August 19th, we participated in a CNC study camp. The lecturer began by personally demonstrating step-by-step procedures using an electronic whiteboard, teaching us how to use the Ucancam software, how to configure various functions, and how to design CNC cutting paths. Subsequently, the lecturer grouped us together and guided us in operating the machine. He took the time to explain the functions of each button on the remote control and provided explanations for why these settings were necessary, highlighting the potential consequences if they were not correctly configured. Finally, he offered us careful reminders and safety instructions to ensure that we could use the CNC machine correctly and safely. On July 1st, we held the cadre handover and teacher appreciation banquet, inviting members from the first to third session to join it. During the event, we prepared some drinks and pizza for everyone. After eating the lunch, the cadres shared their past experiences and future expectations to us, and officially passed on the responsibilities and spirit to new cadres. At the end of the event, the veterans and alumni also spoke their mind to our teachers.  We would like to thank to our seniors for their guidance and sharing.
