0922 PARENTS-MEMBERS MEETING

Last week, the team held a parent briefing on results and new season. The purpose was to let parents better understand what the team is doing and what their children can gain by joining this team. By the way, we would like to introduce the environment and operation model here, and we hope parents can provide more support and assistance in planning for the following seasons. For this event, each group spent a lot of time making briefings and planning time, hoping to communicate clearly with parents. At the beginning, the director was asked to open the meeting, and then the team leaders of hardware, software, and administration were asked to take the stage to introduce the work content of each group, what they learned, and the spiritual changes and growth. Supporting Hawaii's Recovery: FRC 8725 Response to the 2023 Wildfire Tragedy

We are Misty Panther, the FRC team representing Nanshan High School. Our team was established during the summer of 2021, with members chosen from grades 9 to 12 within the school. On August 8, an unexpected wildfire ravaged the Hawaiian island of Maui in the United States, resulting in the destruction of local homes and the loss of lives. In the aftermath, all that remained were ashes and debris. By August 14, these wildfires had caused significant devastation in Hawaii. Our team deeply regrets these events and has created a video uploaded to YouTube to convey our heartfelt concern for this tragedy.
