Build Season Week 5 and 6

Image
In the fifth week after the challenge was announced, we participated in a total of three mock competitions, making adjustments to various aspects of our mechanism, including important functions like intake and shooter. Throughout the process, various ideas may fail, but through continuous testing and accumulating experience, there is always a way to solve the problems and further improve the robot's various functions. In the sixth week after the challenge was announced, which is the week before the overseas competition, as the countdown begins, we have started organizing and packing our luggage. We have made a list of the items we need to bring, including various tools, safety glasses, parts and spares, as well as administrative PR materials for communication with other teams. We hope to smoothly travel to Turkey and stand out in the regional competition!

Build Season Week 3 and 4

In the third and fourth weeks of the season, the hardware and software teams collaborated, addressing issues through multiple discussions and adjustments. After resolving the problems, we tested the functionalities of the shooter and intake on the actual field. The engineering notes for the hardware section are largely complete, and the shooter assembly, having been assembled, is now undergoing improvements. Currently, we have produced three robots. Simultaneously, the administrative team is organizing various PR materials and assisting the hardware and software teams. Through continuous experimentation and enhancement of robot functionalities, we aim to progress and grow continually, striving to design and create even better robots.

Build Season Week 1 and 2

The season has begun, marking the start of hectic work. During the preparation period, teams are assigned tasks, diligently working to complete their respective responsibilities. The hardware team initiates the design and production of the second version of the robot, testing the functionality of the intake and shooter. Through continuous experimentation and improvements, they aim to upgrade the robot's performance. The software team begins testing image recognition features, developing automatic path-drawing functions, and experimenting to ensure alignment with expectations. They also focus on chassis maintenance and wiring. The administrative team starts fundraising using platforms and actively promotes through social media. The goal is to secure financial support through fundraising, covering competition registration fees, robot production costs, and expenses for international travel. Through these relentless efforts, the hope is to not only create lasting memories but also achi...

Welcome to Our FRC Robotics Team 8725's Blog: Connecting with the World

Image
Hello and welcome to the official blog of our FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) robotics team! We are excited to share our journey and experiences with you as we delve into the world of robotics and strive to promote STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education. Our team is passionate about fostering innovation, collaboration, and community building, and we look forward to connecting with FRC teams from around the globe. The FRC robotics competition provides an incredible platform for students like us to explore the realms of robotics, engineering, and problem-solving. It is a thrilling experience that requires us to design, build, and program a complex robot within a limited time frame. However, beyond the competitive aspect, we believe that FRC offers us an opportunity to connect with fellow teams worldwide and foster a global network of knowledge exchange. Through this blog, we aim to document our team's progress, share our insights, and provide valua...
