On August 19th, we participated in a CNC study camp. The lecturer began by personally demonstrating step-by-step procedures using an electronic whiteboard, teaching us how to use the Ucancam software, how to configure various functions, and how to design CNC cutting paths. Subsequently, the lecturer grouped us together and guided us in operating the machine. He took the time to explain the functions of each button on the remote control and provided explanations for why these settings were necessary, highlighting the potential consequences if they were not correctly configured. Finally, he offered us careful reminders and safety instructions to ensure that we could use the CNC machine correctly and safely. We held a week-long summer camp from August 14th to August 18th, and it has just come to an end. The purpose of organizing this summer camp was to provide newbies with the opportunity to learn basic fabrication skills and to further familiarize them with FRC. On the first day, senior students played an instructional video about the competition, followed by a detailed explanation of the rules. Each new student then formed a group of about three to four people and began discussing and drawing up design, and create a robot capable of meeting the mission requirements. Since most newbies were creating a robot for the first time, encountering challenges was inevitable. However, after discussions with senior students, the newbies gradually learned how to overcome those problems. On August 5th, we had an exchange with FRC Team 7589 from Lishan High School. In the morning, they came to our school for the exchange. Initially, we didn't know each other, but after a few conversations, we gradually got to know each other. We began by explaining our team's structure, the responsibilities of each group, annual plans, and our experiences. Then, the captain of FRC Team 7589 shared their team's experiences. Through these introductions, everyone gained a better understanding of each team's management, and it let new members to know more our team's operations. After a short break, we took them on a tour of our training room, showcasing different machines and introducing this year's competition robot's design. On July 1st, we held the cadre handover and teacher appreciation banquet, inviting members from the first to third session to join it. During the event, we prepared some drinks and pizza for everyone. After eating the lunch, the cadres shared their past experiences and future expectations to us, and officially passed on the responsibilities and spirit to new cadres. At the end of the event, the veterans and alumni also spoke their mind to our teachers.  We would like to thank to our seniors for their guidance and sharing. Through various activities and competitions, we have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. For example, we knew how to assemble the robot and how to speak well in front of people.
